Apart from being practically-oriented and geared to real applications, our engineering courses also feature a distinctive international approach. All our students have the opportunity to spend time studying abroad, to spend their practical semester/internship abroad or to write their bachelor's or master's thesis in another country. That gives our graduates vital experience for success on the national, European, and global job markets.

Internationalization is also possible at Campus Wilhelmshaven. International projects during the semester and international summer programs and summer projects during the lecture-free period together with international students offer the possibility of internationalization in Wilhelmshaven as well as the acquisition of creditable credit points.

The department has excellent contacts with various universities in Europe, China, and the USA.
