“During my own studies and in the subsequent doctoral phase, I already dealt with what we now call "distributed artificial intelligence". I then worked for a large IT consultancy firm for eight years, where I was responsible for big data and AI, both from a strategic perspective and in setting up and managing a team of almost twenty AI specialists. I was also regularly involved operationally in corresponding customer projects and usually took on the role of an AI engineer responsible for the realization of IT architectures for AI services and the development of such services.
I would like to incorporate these experiences and topics into my teaching and research activities at the Jade University of Applied Sciences. In my perception, the university is already involved with AI in many areas. The use of data-driven processes is practiced across various departments in teaching and research projects. This opens up exciting opportunities for joint developments!”
